Allison has been an artist since I met her. From mixed-media projects to murals to sculpture to painting, she’s got an amazing range. One series of oil paintings I especially love. She uses pop imagery of Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca to convey notions of romance and love and loss. And they remind me of the night we met.
